Three ways to keep a student fed.

Every contribution and partnership turns into groceries on a shelf and focus in a lecture hall. Here is how you can help — or get help.

Questions

Good to know.

Who can apply for a hamper?
University students living in residence who demonstrate financial need — both NSFAS-funded and middle-class students who provide proof of household income and a motivation.
How often can I apply?
Applications open monthly. Each month we select the student with the highest demonstrated need.
Where does my donation go?
Directly into grocery hampers and the running of the initiative. As a registered NPO, we keep monthly impact records and share them with donors and partners.
Can my company partner with CCI?
Yes. We welcome corporates, retailers, NGOs and universities for financial and in-kind support. Reach out via our contact page to start a conversation.
Which universities do you cover?
Phase 1 covers five Gauteng universities: UP, UJ, Wits, TUT and VUT. We plan to expand nationally in years three to five.
